Students are required to purchase the book Buongiorno Italia! by Joseph Cremona BBC ACTIVE. Books can be ordered at the Student Bookshop (Ashmore campus at TAFE ph 55818411) – however delivery could take up to 3 weeks. OR www.bookdepository.com .

Social greetings, introductions, restaurant, shopping and price enquiries, talk about family and age, counting, days, months, seasons, arrivals and departures, telling and asking time, street directions, enquiries for bus stops, general enquiries, bookings, hotel reservations, renting a house, hiring a car, asking for petrol, public transport and basic grammar.

Career Prospects

Work experience overseas, exchange students, hospitality or a company needing a basic Italian language skill.

Delivery Style

The text book Buongiorno Italia! by Joseph Cremona BBC ACTIVE will be used for this Italian Level 2 course. NB: The book cost is NOT included in the enrolment fee.
Students will participate in role play, activities and basic conversation, some short educational videos about Italy may be used. The teacher is a native Italian tutor.

Outcomes

On completion of the 10 week course the student will have a basic level of knowledge of the language, culture and geography of Italy.

The Campus has two entrances, one on Nerang Street which takes you into the building on the ground floor and one on Scarborough Street where you are entering on the second floor.

Lightbulb students can park in the TAFE carpark BUT you must have your course confirmation with you EVERY week to receive the student discounted price.
