The student will be able to understand and use simple Italian sentences, introduce themselves, give personal information, basic socialising, make simple enquiries about restaurant & hotel reservation, departures/arrivals, time, numbers, street directions, car hire etc. No prior knowledge required.

Social greetings, introductions, restaurant, shopping and price enquiries, talk about family and age, counting, days, months, seasons, arrivals and departures, telling and asking time, street directions, enquiries for bus stops, general enquiries, bookings, hotel reservations, renting a house, hiring a car, asking for petrol, public transport and basic grammar.

Delivery Style
The text book Buongiorno Italia! by Joseph Cremona BBC ACTIVE will be used for this Italian Level 2 course. NB: The book cost is NOT included in the enrolment fee.
Students will participate in role play, activities and basic conversation, some short educational videos about Italy may be used. The teacher is a native Italian tutor.
Outcomes
On completion of the 10 week course the student will have a basic level of knowledge of the language, culture and geography of Italy.
