Tai Chi for Beginners

This course has been designed as a basic introduction to the ancient Chinese art of Tai Chi. It is characterised by slow gentle movements to improve the mind and body. It is non-strenuous and suitable for all ages and level of fitness.

Topics

Quite standing – gentle warm-up exercises, Brain Gym – self massage, Relaxation techniques, Learning 2–4 movements of “Shi Ba Shi” (18 breathing exercise) each week

The course is presented in a practical manner with explaining demonstrating and following instructor

Outcomes

At the end of the 8 week course you will have learnt all of the “Shi Ba Shi” and Tai Chi walking. Students can now carry on with their Tai Chi journey or practice “Shi Ba Shi” daily for health and relaxation
