The course does not cover the actual recording of transactions in these records as this is the focus of a bookkeeping course.

The theory and purpose behind the reports
The jargon used
The significance of the groupings of information used in the reports
The static information provided by the report
The dynamic information provided through financial analysis

  • The preparation of a master budget which includes:

A revenue budget
An expenses budget
A capital budget

A budgeted profit and loss statement
A budgeted balance sheet

During the workshop, you will:
• Discover the careers that best suit their interests, values and personality;

• Create a vision statement and plan for the future;
• Define their career goals and develop strategies to achieve them;
• Take steps to overcome their fears and limiting beliefs;
• Learn motivational techniques to help them achieve their goals; and

MYOB Payroll

A course for users of MYOB who wish to use the Payroll module. Topics include setting up a payroll, entering historical information, payroll categories including payment of allowances, setting up deductions, superannuation, PAYG tax, paying wages by cash, cheque and electronically, reports, end of month procedures, payment of payroll liabilities, end of year processes, payment summaries and end of year roll over. Pre-requisite for this course is to be currently working with MYOB on a regular basis or to have completed MYOB level 1.

Entry Requirements

Knowledge of the Bookkeeping Basic course is essential as is a good knowledge of the basics of MYOB.
