Delivery Style

An introductory Italian book and CD will be provided. Students will participate in role play, activities and basic conversation, some short educational videos about Italy may be used. The teacher is a native Italian tutor.

Outcomes

On completion of the 10 week course the student will have a basic level of knowledge of the language, culture and geography of Italy.

Japanese for Travelling (level 1)

This course is designed by Junko for absolute beginners who want to learn necessary travel phrases, how to pronounce place names, order meals, shop and how to get around. Full of fun activities that focus on speaking and listening skills. By the end of course you are ready to pack your bag!

Topics

Japanese basic pronouciation, romanised Japanese (romaji-this helps to read Japanese place names). Necessary phrases for travel, daily greetings and expressions, introducing yourself, asking the time and and business hours, asking directions, ordering food, buying souvenirs.

Delivery style

In a practical method with students participating in role play, games and activities which makes the learning process fun and easy. The facilitator is a native Japanese person.

This course will help you practice the process of creative writing from beginning to end and give you a comprehensive overview of skills and strategies for all forms of creative writing.

A working knowledge of the English language. This is NOT a course in improving English.

The course is presented in an informal lecture style with diagrams on whiteboard. In addition some time is taken to do some exercises in class. Participation in the form of questions, personal experiences and so on is also encouraged.

Outcomes

The course aims to be an introduction and overview of the skills necessary in creative writing. As such it aims to speed up and improve the acquisition of these skills. It aims to leave the participants with an understanding and useful knowledge base for the further development of these skills whether for recreation, attempting a professional writing career in some specific area or for use in other career areas.

In a simple, easy and interesting teaching technique, without any course materials no books to buy; the course would enable the students to speak and understand on of the most important languages. For work in any countries in the gulf area such as Saudi Arabia,Emirates, etc you will be able to communicate in the Arabic Language.
