Lightbulb’s cheesemaking course is an enjoyable and rewarding two days of making more than 10 varieties of gourmet cheese using good old fashioned traditional cheesemaking techniques at can be applied at home. They are fun, hard work and provide an experience that you will treasure.

Cheesemaking courses are 100% hands-on, no demonstrations, you do all of the starters, renneting, stirring, cooking, wheying off and so on . . . and then take your creations home with you.

All courses are personally run by Graham Redhead, one of Australia’s most experienced master cheesemakers, dairy professional and educators. Founder and owner of Cheesemaking, Graham provides a passion for cheese that is truly contagious as participants who have attended his cheesemaking classes will testify.

With a life time of experience in the dairy industry from the farm to the factory, working for both Government and private industry, Graham has a vast knowledge of the cheese and the dairy industry. Graham has formal qualifications in Dairy Technology and Business and has a string of traditional dairy technology competency certificates. This expertise led Graham to develop Australia’s first Farmhouse Cheesemaking course in 1997 with the Queensland Government, which is the predecessor of the current Cheesemaking courses.
